How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here's how to replace the toner cartridge on the HP Laserjet 2300L:

  1. Open the top cover of your HP Laserjet 2300L.
  2. Hold the old toner cartridge and gently pull it out of the printer. Set it aside for recycling or discard it later according to local regulations.
  3. Remove the new toner cartridge from the package and carefully pull the entire length of the protective tape out of the new cartridge.
  4. Slide the new cartridge into the printer. Push it down until it clicks into place.
  5. Close the top cover.
