- Turn on the HP OfficeJet Pro 6830. Put your fingers inside the slot found at the left portion of your printer. Then, lift the cover.
- Press the cartridge's tab and then, push it. While pushing, lift to free the cartridge from its slot.
- Free your new cartridge from its packaging. Match the color indicator on the printer with the hue of your cartridge.
- To install the cartridge, slide first the top portion of the cartridge to the slot and then push down it lower portion. Close the access door of the cartridges.
