Press the power button to turn on your HP Officejet 6200.
Open the ink cartridge carriage access door by lifting from the center of your HP printer.
Once the ink cartridge carriage moves to the far right side of the printer and becomes idle and silent, lightly press down on the empty ink cartridge to release it from its slot.
Pull the empty cartridge toward you to remove it from the printer.
Take the new ink cartridge out of the package and use the pink pull tab to remove the plastic tape.
Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot and push it forward until it locks into place.
Close the ink cartridge carriage access door.
