- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Lift from the front center of the printer to open the print cartridge access door. Make sure print carriage access door is locked into place.
- Press down on cartridge latch to release it.
- Lift the cartridge latch.
- Push down on ink cartridge to be replaced to release it.
- Pull out old ink cartridge to remove it from its slot.
- Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering on the new ink cartridge.
- Insert new ink cartridge into the empty slot.
- Push new ink cartridge forward into empty slot until it clicks into place.
- Close cartridge latch, making sure it catches below the bottom tabs.
- Close the print carriage access door.
