Running out of ink? Here's how to install a new cartridge in your HP Photosmart C4583 All-in-One printer:
- Turn the printer on, then open the print cartridge door.
- Wait until the print carriage stops at the far right side of the device.
- Remove the used ink cartridge by pressing down on it lightly, then pulling it out of its slot.
- Unwrap the new ink cartridge. Use the pull tab to remove the protective tape completely.
- Install the new ink cartridge into the empty slot. Push on it until it's firmly in place.
- Close the print cartridge door.
