- Lower the cartridge access door open and wait for the print carriage to finish moving to the center of the machine.
- Press down on the empty ink cartridge gently and then remove it from its slot.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its box and then pull the tab to remove the plastic protective tape.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into its correct slot in the printer and push until it snaps into place.
- Close the cartridge access door of the machine. You may also run an alignment test to ensure that the installation has been successful.
