Here's how to install a new ink cartridge in your HP Photosmart C4685 printer:
- Make sure the printer is turned on, then open the print cartridge door. The cartridge holder should move to the center of the printer.
- When the cartridge holder is idle and silent, release the used ink cartridge and remove it from the printer.
