Install a new ink cartridge in your HP Photosmart C5300 printer by following this simple guide:

Check that the printer is switched on, then open the ink cartridge access door located at the front right side of the machine. Make sure the door locks into place.
Once the print carriage stops moving, press the tab on the front of the used ink cartridge to release it. Remove the cartridge from its slot.
Take out the new ink cartridge from its package, then pull off the sealing tape straight. Twist off the orange cap, as well.
Slide the new ink cartridge into the empty slot, pushing it firmly until it clicks into place.
Close the ink cartridge door.
