How to Replace Cartridge(s)

These 6 steps will help you replace the ink cartridge on the HP Photosmart C5373:

 

  1. Make sure that your HP Photosmart C5373 is turned on.
  2. Lift the front right of the printer to open the ink cartridge access door. Then, wait for the ink carriage to move to the center.
  3. Press the tab on the top of the used ink cartridge to remove it from the slot.
  4. Pull the orange pull tab to remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging. Then, twist the orange protective cap to snap it off.
  5. Install the ink cartridge firmly into the empty slot until you hear it click into position.
  6. Close the ink cartridge access door.
