Here's a step-by-step guide to replacing the ink cartridge on the HP PSC 2170:
- Turn on your HP PSC 2170.
- Lift the handle to open the ink cartridge access door and wait until the print carriage moves to the center of the printer.
- Lift the latch to release the old ink cartridge, and then slide the cartridge out of its slot.
- Unpack the new ink cartridge. Gently pull the plastic protective tape out of the cartridge.
- Insert the new cartridge firmly into its corresponding slot until you hear it click into position.
- Pull the end of the latch and push down until it stops.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
