  1. Make sure that your HP PSC 2175V is on.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door. The print carriage will then move and stop at the center of the printer.
  3. Lift the latch to release the used ink cartridge, and then pull the cartridge out of its slot.
  4. Remove the new ink cartridge from the package and pull the plastic protective tape out of the cartridge.
  5. Install the new cartridge firmly into the correct slot until it clicks into place.
  6. Pull the end of the latch and push down until it stops.
  7. Close the ink cartridge access door.
