How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Replacing ink cartridges for the HP PSC 2510xi is easy. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Make sure printer is turned on.
  2. Open print cartridge access door by lifting the handle until the door locks into place. Wait for the ramp below the print cartridge carriage to lower before continuing.
  3. Lift latch to release old ink cartridge to be replaced.
  4. Pull old ink cartridge out of its slot.
  5. Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering on new ink cartridge. 
  6. Push new ink cartridge into corresponding slot until it clicks into place.
  7. Pull the end of the latch toward you, press it down until it stops, and then release it. Make sure the latch catches below the bottom tabs.
  8. Close print cartridge access door. Printer will prompt for ink cartridge alignment after cartridge replacement.
