How To Replace Cartridge

  1. Open the printer's cartridge access door and then raise its latch until it is up and completely extended.
  2. Remove the empty ink cartridge from the printer by raising the latch and pulling the cartridge out of the machine.
  3. Unpack the new ink cartridge and peel off the protective tape carefully. Do not touch the gold-colored contacts and the ink nozzles to prevent ink failures later on.
  4. Insert the new ink cartridge into its proper slot and push until it locks into place. Then, lower the ink cartridge latch.
  5. Close the print cartridge access door.
