Frequently Asked Questions

I'm replacing both the black and the color ink cartridges on my Lexmark Z1420. I don't want to get confused, so where do I exactly insert the cartridges?

When installing the black and the color ink cartridges, make sure to insert the black cartridge in the left carrier and the color cartridge in the right carrier.

I'm getting the HP 56 & 57 & 58 Remanufactured 3-Piece Combo Pack, but I won't be using the HP 58 cartridge just yet. How do I preserve it?

To preserve the unused remanufactured HP 58 cartridge, you must keep it sealed in its original packaging and store it in a cool, dry location.

I just installed a new set of ink cartridges on my Z1420, but the page did not print. What could be the problem?

If you have just installed new cartridges on your Z1420 and the page did not print, it could be that the sticker and the tape still remain on the cartridges. Remove them from the printer first and remove the sticker and the tape if necessary before inserting them back into the printer.
