How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's a simple guide to help you replace the toner cartridge on the Okidata C5650N:
- Start by pressing the cover release until the top cover is fully opened.
- Remove the empty toner cartridge with the use of the toner release lever.
- Take the new cartridge out of the protective bag. Save the bag for later use.
- To distribute the toner, rock the cartridge back and forth 5 or 6 times.
- Once you've align the tabs of toner cartridge with the image unit, slide it forward against the spring.
- Make sure that the cartridge is completely locked into place by pushing the toner release lever.
- Close the top cover of your Okidata C5650N.
