How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Refer to the easy steps below if you need to replace the toner cartridge on the Okidata C5800:
- You must begin by opening the top cover. Afterwards, raise the colored toner release lever on the toner cartridge
- Slide the empty cartridge out of the C5800. Recycle it according to your local regulations.
- Pull the replacement cartridge out of its protective box. Then, give the cartridge a little shake to distribute its toner.
- Remove the adhesive tape, and then start the installation.
- Push the cartridge firmly against the spring of the drum unit into the image until it snaps into place.
- Push down on the sides of the top cover until it latches fully closed.
