- Make sure that the machine is turned off. Then, wait for it to cool down before you open the front cover.
- Remove the used toner cartridge from the CLX-2160N.
- Lift the replacement cartridge straight out of its protective package.
- Don't forget to remove the protective cap from the cartridge.
- Look for the slot that corresponds with the color of the cartridge, and then install it.
