How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Before you start replacing the toner cartridge, make sure that the machine is powered on.
- Open the top cover of the printer.
- Pull out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly.
- Push down the green lock lever and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of its packaging. Grab the toner on both ends and shake it gently to help distribute the ink inside thoroughly. Then, remove the new toner’s protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge into the drum unit and make sure it clicks into place.
- Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the green tab side to side several times.
- Slide the toner cartridge and drum assembly unit back into the printer.
- Close the top cover of the machine.
