Check these handy steps on how to replace the existing toner cartridge in your Brother HL-3150CDW printer:
- Turn the printer on, then open its top cover until it locks into position.
- Wait until the device cools down, then take the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly out.
- Unlock the used toner cartridge from the drum unit by pressing the lock lever. Then, detach the used cartridge from inside the drum unit.
- Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging. Hold it levelly with both hands, then shake the new cartridge gently from side to side several times to spread the toner evenly.
- Pull off the cartridge's protective cover, then insert the new cartridge into the drum unit securely. Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit.
- Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer. Close the top cover.
