How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Turn your printer’s power on, and open its top cover.
- Pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge from the machine.
- Press the green lever on the left front side of the drum unit to unlock the toner cartridge, and then pull the cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Unpack your new toner cartridge. Then, shake it several times to distribute the ink contents.
- Pull off the new toner’s protective cover.
- Insert the new toner into the drum unit, until you hear it click in place. If done right, the green lock lever will lift automatically.
- To clean the corona wire, slide the green tab on the rear of the drum unit right to left several times.
- Place the drum unit with the new toner cartridge back into the printer.
- Close your printer’s top cover.
