How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Open the front cover of the printer. Then, take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
- Press down the lock lever located on th right and then remove the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Unbox the new toner cartridge. Hold the cartridge on both ends and rock it gently left and right several times to spread the ink inside evenly.
- Remove the cartridge’s protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge into the drum unit and push until it snaps into place.
- Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by carefully sliding the blue tab side to side a few times. Return this tab to its original position when you’re done.
- Place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer.
- Close the front cover of the printer.
