How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Install your new Brother MFC-L2710DW toner by following these steps:
- Power on the printer and then open its front cover.
- Pull out the empty toner cartridge and drum unit assembly from the machine.
- Press down the green lock lever on the drum unit to release the empty toner cartridge.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of its packaging and then remove its protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge into the drum unit and push until it locks into place.
- Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the green tab left and right a few times.
- Place the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer.
- Close the front cover of the machine.
