Grasp the old toner cartridge in the middle, and then pull it out toward you.
Unpack the new Canon toner cartridge and remove it from its protective case.
Toner might be lodged inside the cartridge. Gently shake the toner cartridge 5 or 6 times to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge.
Insert the new cartridge into the opening of the printer, and then slide it all the way in until it locks into place.
Close the front cover.
