Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to immediately replace the toner cartridge when white spots start to appear on the copies?
Not necessarily. White spots may indicate a cartridge that’s running low on toner, but you can still make use of the remaining toner to finish copying a few more pages. All you need to do is remove the cartridge from the printer, shake it a few times to distribute the remaining toner inside, and reinstall it.
Any storage tips after removing the packaging seal of the toner cartridge?
If you already removed the packaging seal of the toner cartridge, you may keep it in an appropriate storage box for future use and store it in a cool, dry place at 40°C/104°F or lower.
Is it true that I’ll save more if I use a high-yield toner cartridge for my Canon PC921?
Yes, especially if you make a lot of copies every day. High-yield toner cartridges contain more toner, so they can produce more copies, saving you time and money from replacing the cartridge.
