How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's how to replace the ink cartridge on the Canon PIXMA MX492:
- Turn on your Pixma printer. You should remove any paper from its tray. Then, open the tray and cartridge cover.
- Identify which color or cartridge needs replacement. Push down the empty cartridge to release. Slide out the new cartridge.
- Remove the protective film of the new cartridge. Insert the new cartridge in a slanting position and then push up to secure in place.
