Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be able to print with my Canon PIXMA IP4700 if one of the ink cartridges is not installed?

No. You cannot print unless all the ink cartridges are installed into your PIXMA IP4700.

Why do I have to make sure I install the ink cartridge in the correct position?

You must install the ink cartridge in the correct position according to the label on the Print Head Holder because you will not be able to print if you failed to do so.

Is it true that I must not remove two or more ink cartridges at the same time when replacing ink cartridges?

Yes. You must replace ink cartridges one by one when replacing two or more ink cartridges. So once you're done replacing the first cartridge, that's the only time you can remove the next empty cartridge.
