How to Replace Cartridge(s)
In just under 3 minutes, you can easily replace the ink cartridge in your Canon Pixma iP4950 printer. Here's how to do it:
- Check that the printer is turned on, then open the top cover. This will prompt the print cartridge holder to slide to its replacement position.
- Release the ink cartridge you want to replace and pull it out of the holder.
- Take out the new ink cartridge from its package. Holding it only by the plastic body, carefully pull off the sealing tape. Twist off the protective cap, as well.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into the holder at a slight tilt, then press down on it until it's firmly into place.
- Close the top cover.
