How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace a compatible Canon PIXMA MG7520 ink cartridge, follow the simple steps below:
- Press the Power button to turn your Canon PIXMA MG7520 on.
- Open the operation panel until it locks into place.
- To know which cartridge needs replacement, find the ink cartridge with the lamp flashing fast.
- Press on the tab to release the old cartridge from the holder, and then pull it out of the printer.
- Unpack the new cartridge and remove the orange protective tape and the protective film from it.
- Remove the orange protective cap on the new cartridge. Make sure not to touch the open ink port to avoid ink stains on your hands.
- Install the new cartridge into the correct slot at a slant. Press down on it until it clicks into place.
- Close the operation panel.
