How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here are the steps to replacing the ink tank on the Canon PIXMA TR4550:
- Make sure that your Canon PIXMA TR4550 is on.
- Open the front cover followed by the paper output tray. Never forget to remove any paper in the cassette.
- Open the paper output cover, and then wait until the cartridge holder moves to its replacement position.
- Press down on the old ink tank and remove it from the cartridge holder.
- Unpack the new ink tank, and pull out its protective tape. Discard the tape along with the old ink tank.
- Push the ink tank at a slant into the cartridge holder.
- Ensure that the tank is secured by firmly pressing on it until it snaps into place.
- Close the paper output cover.
