How to Replace Cartridge(s)
By following these steps, you will be able to replace the ink cartridge on the Canon PIXMA TR8520:
- Raise the entire scanner unit, and then wait until the carriage moves to the center.
- Take the used ink cartridge out of is slot.
- Get the new ink cartridge and remove it from its box.
- Pull the orange tape to remove it from the cartridge.
- Twist the orange clip, and dispose of it.
- Align the ink cartridge with the tracks inside the printer.
- Push the cartridge firmly into its slot until it is fully secured.
- Close the front cover.
