Here's the easy and proper way to install a new ink ribbon cartridge in your Epson TM-U375 receipt printer:

  1. Open the print cover. Remove the used ink ribbon cartridge by grasping the end of the tab and pulling it out of the printer.
  2. Take the new ink ribbon cartridge out of its packaging. Turn the ribbon knob on the cartridge up to three times in a clockwise direction to take up any slack in the ribbon.
  3. Install the new ink ribbon in the printer, pushing the cartridge forward until it clicks into place. Rotate the knob clockwise again up to three times to place the ribbon in the correct position.
  4. Check that the ribbon is installed properly and is not wrinkled or creased.
  5. Close the printer cover.
