How To Replace Cartridge

Almost out of ink? Here's the easy and proper way to install a new ink cartridge in your HP DeskJet 450 printer:

Turn the power on, then open the front access cover.
Wait for the carriage to move to a more accessible position.
Lift the latch of the used ink cartridge, then gently remove it from its slot.
Remove the new ink cartridge from its protective bag.
Use the colored pull tab to remove the protective film from the new cartridge.
Insert the new ink cartridge into the empty slot.
Close the latch and press on it until it is sealed flat on the new cartridge.
Close the front access cover.
