Installing a new HP Officejet Pro 7740 ink cartridge is easy. Here's how:
- Press the power button to turn on your HP printer. Open the ink cartridge access door and wait until the ink cartridge carriage is idle and silent before you proceed.
- Release the empty ink cartridge from its slot by pushing it in. Then, pull it out of the printer.
- Unpack the new ink cartridge and peel off the protective tape from the cartridge before you install it.
- Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot. Push it in until it snaps into place.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 to replace other empty cartridges.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
