Change the ink cartridge on your HP Officejet 7310 with these 6 easy steps:

  1. Turn on your Officejet 7310 and open the printer cover.
  2. Release the empty cartridge from its slot by pressing down on the top of the cartridge latch and pulling out the bottom of the latch.
  3. Slide the cartridge out of the machine. Make sure to discard it properly according to your local regulations.
  4. Remove the new cartridge from its packaging and peel off the plastic protective tape from the cartridge. Be sure not to touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles.
  5. Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot. Push down on the latch until it snaps closed.
