Frequently Asked Questions

What to do if I notice a significant decrease in print quality while using my HP Photosmart C5390?

A significant decrease in print quality could mean one of two things: the ink cartridges are running low on ink or the printhead needs cleaning. Try cleaning the printhead first. If it works, you don't have to replace the ink cartridges just yet.

Why should I avoid cleaning the printhead unnecessarily?

Cleaning the printhead uses ink. So if you do this unnecessarily, you only waste ink and shorten the life of the cartridges.

I just placed my remanufactured HP ink cartridge order. When will it ship?

We ship orders that are placed before 3:00 PM PST the same day. If they are placed after that on a Friday or before a holiday, it will be shipped the next business day.
