How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
- Open the printer and then wait for the printhead to move to its cartridge installation position.
- Remove the empty ink cartridges by pressing the release tab.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its packaging and then remove its protective cap or its twist cap.
- Insert the ink cartridge into the printer until it clicks into place. If you’re replacing more than one cartridge, insert the colored ones first and install the blank ink cartridge last.
- Close the printer.
