How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's the proper and easy way of replacing the ink cartridge in your Canon PIXMA iP4820 printer:
- Make sure your printer is switched on, then open the paper output tray gently.
- Open the top cover and the print cartridge holder will move to the replacement position.
- Push the tab and lift the ink cartridge from its holder to remove it.
- Prepare the new ink cartridge by taking it out of its package, holding it by the plastic body and removing the tape and sealing film completely. Twist off the protective cap.
- At a slant, insert the new ink cartridge into the holder. Push down until it snaps firmly into place.
- Close the top cover.
