How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Below are the 8 steps to replacing the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC-J625DW:
- Start by opening the ink cartridge cover of the MFC-J625DW.
- Remove the ink cartridge that needs replacement. To do this, press the lock release lever to release the cartridge from its slot, and then lift the cartridge out.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its protective bag.
- To release the vacuum seal, rotate the green release lever clockwise until you hear an audible click.
- Remove the orange protective packing from the cartridge.
- Find the slot that matches the color of the ink cartridge, and then insert the cartridge.
- Lightly press the “PUSH" mark on the ink cartridge until it latches into place.
- Close the ink cartridge cover. The printer will automatically reset the ink dot counter.
