Replacing the Canon PIXMA MG3140 is fast and easy. Here's how:

Plug your Canon PIXMA MG3140 to an electric socket, and then press the power button. Once it is turned on, slowly lower its front cover followed by the output tray and output cover.
Wait for its cartridge holder to stop at the replacement position. This will yield its head cover to automatically open.
In order to remove the empty cartridge, push down the lock lever. Then, slide the cartridge towards you.
Remove the protective tape and other films of your new cartridge. Push into the slide until it is all the way in. Then, lift the lock lever. Before printing, close this Canon printer's output cover.
