Here's a step-by-step guide to replacing the ink cartridge on the Epson Stylus Photo RX680:

 

  1. Make sure that the Stylus Photo RX680 is on.
  2. Open the scanner unit, and then open the cartridge cover.
  3. Pinch the tab on the cartridge that needs replacement and lift it up to remove it from the printer.
  4. Remove the new ink cartridge from the package, and remove the yellow tape from its bottom.
  5. Insert the new ink cartridge into the corresponding holder and push it down until it clicks into place.
  6. Close the cartridge cover and press down on it until it locks into place.
