How to Replace Cartridge(s)

This simple guide can help you properly and easily replace the ink cartridges in your Epson WorkForce 1100 printer:

  1. Check that the printer is on, then open the top cover.
  2. Press and release the drop-ink button to see which ink cartridges need to be replaced, then press it again. Open the print cartridge cover.
  3. Squeeze the tab on the cartridge and lift it straight up and out of its slot.
  4. Shake the new ink cartridge up to five times before taking it out of its protective bag. Remove the new cartridge from the bag, then peel off the tape from the bottom.

  6. Repeat steps 3-5 if replacing multiple ink cartridges.
  7. Close the cartridge cover and the printer cover, then press the drop- ink button again.
