Replace the ink cartridge of your HP DeskJet 1200 printer with these easy-to-follow steps:

  1. Turn on the printer and wait for the print heads to move to the access area.
  2. Open the printer cover.
  3. Push the release button on the ink cartridge to be replaced and carefully pull out the cartridge from the cradle.
  4. Remove the new cartridge from its packaging. Be sure to take off the seal from the bottom of the cartridge.
  5. Insert the new ink cartridge into the appropriate slot pressing firmly until it clicks into place.
  6. Close the printer cover.
