How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here's how to to replace the ink cartridges on the HP Envy 100 - D410B:

  1. To begin, load plain white, unused paper into the paper input tray.
  2. If the D410B is not yet turned on, press the Power button.
  3. Open the access door, and then wait until the ink cartridge carriage moves to the center.
  4. Once the carriage stops moving, raise the cartridge lid for the ink cartridge that you wish to remove.
  5. Pull the used ink cartridge out of its slot. Set it aside for recycling.
  6. Remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging. Using the pink pull tab, remove the plastic tape from the ink cartridge.
  7. With the cartridge at a slight upward angle, insert it into its corresponding slot.
  8. Make sure that the ink cartridge is fully seated by pressing down on it. Close the cartridge lid afterwards.
  9. Close the access door.
