How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here are the simple steps to replacing the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC J450DW:
- Open your Brother MFC J450DW printer models ink cartridge cover. Push down the lock release lever of the empty cartridge. Pull the cartridge towards you.
- Open the box of your new cartridge and take it out. Locate its green lever, turn it counterclockwise until you hear it click. Then, pull the orange protective packing.
- Push the new cartridge to its designated color slot. Push firmly to make it latch on to its slot.
