How to Replace Cartridge(s)
By following this guide, you will be able to replace the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC J870DW:
- Lower the cartridge cover. Refer to your devices screen to determine the cartridge for replacement.
- Press down the tab of the expended cartridge. Slide out the old cartridge out of its slot.
- Remove the packaging of your new tank. Move the green release lever counterclockwise to remove it. Get rid of the orange protective film.
- Insert the cartridge and firmly push to lock it into the slot. Close the cartridge cover.
