How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Follow the steps below to replace the ink cartridge on the Lexmark X6575:


  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Lift the scanner unit and wait for the print cartridge carrier to move and stop at the loading position.
  3. Press down on the cartridge carrier latch to raise the cartridge carrier lid.
  4. Pull the used ink cartridge out of the printer.
  5. Get the new ink cartridge and remove the tape from the back and bottom of the cartridge.
  6. Close the black cartridge carrier lid.
  7. Lower the scanner unit.
